☕0 Days Since Telesto Broke Destiny

Disabled Exotics

Not a month goes by without Telesto doing something completely unintended. Friday, Telesto was disabled because you could become nearly un-killable.

Telesto Bug? Telesto Cheese?

Have you ever wanted to stick a bunch of Telesto shots onto your friend and have them run into enemies? Well, you could stick them and they'd acting like a suit of armor.

In PvP, an enemy player would try to shoot a Telesto-covered Guardian but the damage would only go to the Telesto bolt. It's like you stick a bunch of balloons to your body. The balloon pops but you don't get hurt.

This wasn't God-mode, since you'd eventually run of Telesto “armor”, but splash damage would do damage to you and pop the bolt. Because it could give an unfair advantage in PvP and Gambit, Bungie disabled the exotic in both activities.

But Wait, There's More

Telesto want’t the only thing breaking the game. Raiju's Harness was actually God-mode.

Through a couple steps, you could create an infinite vortex of the block from Arcstrider's super. Think a bubble of tempests whipping around you that blocks all incoming damage like The Last Airbender.

Even more insane is that it just stays up. You could be:

  • Running around

  • Shooting your weapons

  • Standing around emoting

  • Literally anything

and be invincible.

Bungie has disabled Raiju's Harness from all activities until a fix can be added.

I hope you have a good Saturday! Be on the lookout for some tips to win more Trials matches on Bannerfall tomorrow.
