😱15 NEW Things You FORGOT are Coming in Season 15 of Destiny 2

Everything Changes

1) Overhauled Trials Rewards

Supposed to encourage players to go deeper and play longer on their Trials card. This will help many players get their 3 & 5 win rewards.

2) Removal of 3 Peeking

Emotes will be disabled in Trials and Competitive. You will also not be able to swap to a 3rd-person-PoV weapon if it has no ammo.

3) Crossplay

Play with ANY Destiny friend. All platforms share matchmaking except Crucible, Trials, Competitive, Iron Banner and Gambit. These will remain separate unless a console player plays with a Steam player. That fireteam will matchmake Steam playerbase.

4) Hand Cannon, Scout Rifles, Machine and Exotic Primary BUFFS

Exotic primaries will be buffed for endgame pve activities via catalysts. We don’t know what exotics will get catalysts, but we know what currently don’t have a catalyst.

5) Complete Rework of Fusion Rifles

Expect to see changes to perks and mods on fusion rifles. Exotic fusion rifles like Vex Mythoclast may also get custom tuning.

Expect fusion rifles on the seasonal artifact.

6) Breech Grenade Launcher and Anarchy Nerfs

Bungie wants to move the Crucible away from special-ammo dominating. This is one of the last steps before looking at buffing primary weapons.

Anarchy does too much. Expect it to be good at passive damage but not add clear.

7) Removal of Synthstrand

Transmog is still a bad system. It'll just be a little less complicated without Synthstrand.

In Season 15, you’ll purchase the Transmog bounties from Ada with Glimmer.

8) Light Subclass Buffs

Stasis has been dominating. After multiple nerfs, Light subclasses could get buffed. Way too many changes for this post, so be in the look out for it very soon.

9) New Iron Banner Weapons

Archon's Thunder, Riiswalker and some new Iron Banner weapons will be up for grabs.

I expect a fusion rifle as a reward to match the season's theme or a grenade launcher after their nerfs.

10) Unified Reputation System

Zavala's rewards will match Lord Shaxx and The Drifter. You'll be able to earn rewards in Strikes/Nightfalls like in Crucible.

11) Activity Streaks

Get a bonus to XP and reputation by just playing. Bungie expects 75% of your reputation rank ups will come from just playing. Players that win more will rank up a little bit faster.

Bounties will no longer give XP.

12) Conqueror Earlier in Season

The Comedian (Destiny 1 shotgun) and The Hothead (Destiny 1 rocket launcher) have been added as Nightfall rewards.

Each week, 2 weapons will be dropping from Nightfalls instead of having 6 old weapons dropping from one week.

Ex. The Comedian + The Palindrome drop one week and you can get either.
