The Future of Iron Banner

Destiny 2 Iron Banner What We Survive Quest Guide - GameSpot

Starting in Season 17 on May 24th, Iron Banner your Power level is disabled. That means you can use any gear as if it was normal Crucible.

My Spare Rations and Revoker are ready to play.

Reward Changes

Iron Banner tokens are being removed after May 16th forever. Make sure to turn them in unless you don’t mind them disappearing.

Starting in Season 17, you’ll be able to focus Iron Engrams with Saladin. Just like Trials of Osiris.

Make sure to wear Iron Banner armor (or Iron Banner ornaments) to get extra reputation (+200%) while playing.

Daily Challenges

For the first 4 days of Iron Banner, there’s a daily challenge. These challenges stack an additional +100% reputation bonus. They also give you a Pinnacle item.

Iron Banner Title

A new title called Iron Lord is coming in Season 17. It should take roughly 15-20 hours to complete.

Iron Banner Rotation

Iron Banner will only appear twice per season (from three times). Iron Banner will be available the week of May 31st and July 12th.

Make sure to add those to your calendar so you don’t forget!

966 Days Without New Crucible Content FINALLY ENDS

Praise The Traveler!

Finally new PvP content. Nothing too crazy, unfortunately. Just a taste.

There’s two new pieces of content coming on May 24th.

  1. Gamemode: Rift

  2. Map: Disjunction

If you played Destiny 1, you remember Rift. If not, it’s basically Capture the Flag meets basketball.

A Spark of Light spawns in the middle of the map. Someone needs to pick up the Spark and dunk it in the opposing team’s base (aka their Rift).

The Spark holder periodically appears as a waypoint for everyone. If you die, you drop the Spark. If you hold onto it too long, it explodes.

The only way your team gets points is if you slam the Spark into the opposing Rift.

Disjunction is one of the largest maps created. And it sounds like it’s been designed with Rift in mind.

Xur

Xur is in the Winding Cove on the EDZ. The Gridskipper roll is really good!

Next Week

  • The end of Guardian Games!

  • The Scarlet Keep Nightfall

  • Bonus ranks for Crucible, Vanguard, and Gambit

  • Team Scorched in Crucible

If you want to say thank you, you can Buy Me a Coffee.

Have a great weekend!
