Will These 5 Changes SAVE Gambit?
Bungie hasn't known what to do about Gambit in Destiny 2
It's been dying on life support as the 3rd WORST activity (behind Private PvP and Nightmare Hunts)
Will these 5 changes save Gambit?🧵

The End of Thrallway
Thrallway will no longer give XP😓
Many players set up macros that would kill enemies non-stop for you while you slept, eat, went to school/work, or just didn’t want to play.
Because killing enemies for XP is going to be a massive grind for Crafting in The Witch Queen, this farming method is no longer possible.
I imagine we’ll all use the entrance to Grasp of Avarice, Shuro Chi, or Altars of Sorrow for grinding the thousands of weapon kills we’ll need.
The Most Rewarding Season Pass Yet
Destiny's season pass always adds dozens of rewards for your $10
But the BEST reward was missing from the Season of the Lost
Here's how the Season of the Risen's season pass is even better:🧵

New PvP Content (that isn’t new content)
9 months ago, Destiny’s Game Director Joe Blackburn laid out a rough roadmap for PvP. He specifically talked about the new content plans for the future.
After reprised maps in season 16, season 17 will come with a brand-new map. There are a bunch of new environments in Destiny 2, and we’re excited to start bringing them into the crucible.

Those two maps are Eternity and Vostok. Two PvP maps that were already in the game, were then removed, and are now back as new content.

What does ‘reprised’ mean? Hopefully it means more than copy/paste.
A Very Anticlimatic, Buggy End of Season Mission
The final mission of The Season of the Lost is finally here! We’ve been waiting for weeks and weeks to see what sets everything up in The Witch Queen.
Because of an incredible amount of bugs, I won’t spoil what happens. If I’m being honest, the story has never been what keeps me playing. I wasn’t expecting much.
But I was fairly underwhelmed by how little was there to launch us into one of the largest Destiny expansions.
For those of you that played the Exercism mission, what did you think of it? Was it enough to get you hyped for The Witch Queen?
Have a great weekend!
