A lot to unpack this week! Events are getting some good updates.

Vault Space is being increased for the first time since Forsaken. A new dungeon is launching in a week!

Solstice of Heroes

This summer event will just be known as Solstice moving forward.

Armor

The armor set to earn during the event will be much easier. No Rare, Legend, and Masterworked armor sets that you need to grind through (thank the Traveler!).

There will only be one armor set.

Instead, when you upgrade a piece of the armor:

1. You can reroll its stats

2. Its stat potential will be shared across all drops

Bonfire Bash

In the EAZ, we’ll be building and stoking “paracausal bonfires”.

It sounds like we’ll be doing something new in the activity. Instead of slaying minibosses all over the map, we’ll need to defend bonfires.

Traversal around the EAZ has been made easier. More floating islands were added. Building-barriers have been removed.

The Future of In-Game Events

Earning event Cosmetics have never been a fun or clear experience. Event Cards are how that should be significantly improved.

Event Cards are simple and focused like Season Challenges. Go to the Event’s Card and know exactly how to earn:

• Shaders

• Emblems

• Gear

• Individual Event Seals

• Multi-Event Seal

• Titles

• Event Tickets

Everything in the Event Card will unlock at the start of the event. NO DRIP FEED.

The best part of Event Cards are the event-themed Cosmetics will be available to earn by playing the event. They’ve always been locked behind the Eververse.

You need to spend 1,000 Silver to be able to earn these extra Cosmetics. They’re estimated to be worth 3,000 Silver.

(Think of it like a mini battle pass).

Vault Space

Increased from 500 spaces to 600!

New Dungeon

The newest dungeon launches Friday, May 27th at 10:00 AM Pacific Time. The recommended Power Level will be 1550.

Master difficulty will also be available!

Here’s what loot you can expect:

• Armor set (with Artifice version from Master)

• 4 new weapons

• 2 reprised weapons

• 1 exotic weapon + catalyst

• 1 Ship or Sparrow

• 2 Emblems (normal & master)

You need to own the Digitial Deluxe Edition of The Witch Queen. If you do not, you can pay $20 in the Eververse for both this one (and the one coming in S19).

The Deluxe Edition (containing all Seasons & dungeons this year) is also being discounted 25% next week.

Trials

Here’s a first look at the new Trials of Osiris armor set coming in S17. Notice the Hunter (right) Helmet looks like a monkey 🐒 lol.

As a Titan main, I really like the Arms and Legs.

Reminder:

• New Sidearm & Fusion Rifle in S17

• The Messenger & Shayura’s Wrath are not earnable in S17

• No Trials of Osiris between May 24 and June 10

The map this week is Endless Vale dropping Aisha’s Embrace.
