Massive Solar 3.0 Buffs

If you thought Solar 3.0 wasn’t already powerful, some buffs were made. Personally, I think Solar 3.0 is stronger than Void 3.0. Most of Void 3.0’s power came from seasonal mods that are gone now.

Here’s what changed:

Dawnblade

• Heat Rises: Now releases Cure x2 to you and nearby allies. Consuming Healing Grenade increases that to Cure x3. With Touch of Flame, you also gain Restoration.

• Icarus Dash: Rapid super kills or weapon kills (all while Airborne) will heal you.

• Celestial Fire: Each projectile applies 10 Scorch stacks (15 stacks with Ember of Ashes).

Sunbreaker

• Burning Maul: +25% damage buff in PvE.

• Roaring Flames: Uncharged melee does Solar damage and applies 30 Scorch stacks (40 stacks with Ember of Ashes).

• Consecration: Gives 2 Fragment slots (was 1) and increased the height of the ground slam’s wave by 25%.

Gunslinger

Massive Destiny Community Disappointment

Kevin Yanes, the Sandbox lead at Bungie, commented on Twitter that Titans were not going to get an in-air dash in the future.

It’s something that Bungie has been asked about for years. In D1, Titans had an exotic chest piece that gave Titans what is now known as Icarus Dash.

The vibe was already very low in Destiny. The amount of negativity surrounding Bungie not releasing information about the new season rolled over to this.

It’s gotten so bad that Kevin (and more Bungie employees) have been getting numerous death threats.

That is unacceptable.

I wouldn’t fault Bungie at all for pulling back on their communications moving forward. Imagine if the angry customer you served during your McDonalds shift continued to harass you online on your personal account every night.

Multiply that by thousands.

Xur

Xur is in the Watcher’s Grave on Nessus. The SWARM looks like it’ll be a pretty good PvE roll.
