☕Should You Save Your Iron Banner Bounties This Week?
This Week in Destiny
This Week in Destiny:
MAKE SURE TO GRAB FREE BRIGHT DUST FROM EVERVERSE
Iron Banner
Nightfall
Crucible
Iron Banner
This is the last Iron Banner of the season and the last until The Witch Queen expansion on February 2nd.
Which begs the question, should you save your Iron Banner bounties to hoard XP for next season?
DMG, the Community Manager at Bungie said this:
@Cozmo23 Just turn in your bounties, man...

@Cozmo23 The issue here is that we have folks relying on us to give detailed information in the form of a strategy guide.
Bounty hoarding is a risk that players may take if they'd like to maximize their gains in a new season, but we're not going to give a play by play on what to keep.

I think it’s safe to say that nothing about leveling has changed.
Use Destiny Recipes if you want to save up XP. It’ll tell you which ones to get and which ones to avoid - like Crucible, Gambit, and Vanguard because they give a powerful reward.
The “risk” that DMG is probably talking about is most likely about the powerful drops we’ve known about for a long time.
The worst case scenario is you lose out on a couple powerful/pinnacle drops and then have to grind more XP for your artifact to catch up.
And if Bungie has learned one thing, it’s to put a couple weeks in between the expansion launch and the new raid. So you should have time to catch up if the Day 1 Raid Race is something you’re interested in.
Personally, I’m not going to save my Iron Banner bounties. I’ll be grinding Witch Queen anyway and I really don’t have any interest in doing bounties until then.
Nightfall
Exodus Crash
The Comedian (shotgun)
Shadow Price (auto rifle)
Crucible
Iron Banner
Momentum Control
Are you going to save bounties?
