Today at daily reset, Trials of Osiris is back after a couple of weeks away. So much has changed.

Here are 3 reasons to give Trials another shot.

1. ✨Reed’s Regret

Even if you do NOT like playing PVP, you’ll want to play for the new Linear Fusion Rifle - Reed’s Regret.

This is the only Legendary Linear Fusion Rifle or Fusion Rifle in the Kinetic slot. This means you could run triple Fusions during the Fusion Rifle season.

Edit: Looks like, even though Stasis is supposed to be in the Kinetic slot, that this is the only legendary Stasis that actually goes into the Heavy slot. So still no triple fusion rifles for some reason.

AND. It has some incredible rolls to hunt for. Here’s what I’m looking for:

• Triple Tap + Vorpal Weapon (PVE)

• Triple Tap + Firing Line (PVE)

• Quickdraw + Harmony (PVP)

2. 🎯Targetted Farming

Tokens are gone. Saint-14 is now like his counterparts Zavala and Lord Shaz.

You gain reputation at the end of every match. The amount of rep you get is scaled by how many round wins you have (up to 20 round wins). Even if you lose the match, you can still get rewarded with some reputation.

Just like Vanguard or Crucible, every 3rd rank up gives you a Powerful Trials engram. You can decrypt it into a random Trials armor piece or non-Adept weapon (like a normal Umbral Engram). Or you can focus it (like a Prismatic Lens) to a specific item. You can focus engrams for Adept weapons if you’ve gone flawless that week.

You can finally farm for that weapon you’ve been wanting. I really want a better Eye of Sol and Igneous Hammer. I might even try to get some good-looking armor with stat rolls worth using.

3. 🗑Anti-Cheat + Account Recoveries

The Trials of Osiris has some integrity again!

Cheaters are being banned by BattlEye. Account recovery services are at risk of getting their clients perma-banned. A serious dent has been made to the tens of thousands of dollars being exchanged every weekend.

FINALLY!

It took us a long time and many tough days to get here. But Trials is in a good place. There’s loot for PVE and PVP players to chase. Loot is plentiful. Your time should finally feel like it’s being respected.

Let’s give Bungie a hand. They didn’t stick the landing with Trials originally but they picked themselves up and kept going.

I WANT that Reed’s Regret for PVE. You can play solo and still get loot. And loot that you actually want! If you were on the fence or going to pass on Trials, you should strongly reconsider.
