Happy weekly Destiny reset!

Last week, the Bungie 30th Anniversary update dropped. This week, there’s lots of loot to chase.

I’m sipping an iced coffee ☕ in anticipation of today’s reset because The Dawning is my favorite event of the year.

The Dawning

My favorite event of the year returns! Some of the best armor ornaments come from this event (even if a lot of them are locked behind the Eververse 😢).

Here’s what the new armor looks like!

Hunter

Warlock

I’ll admit - not 100% sure of the differences between Warlock and Titan. They look nearly identical.

My best guess is that this one is the Warlock armor and the next image is the Titan armor.

Titan

It’s probably asking too much that The Dawning’s activity is different than in past years. Yearly events are almost identical year-over-year.

But The Dawning is my favorite event of the year because it’s one of the best times to restock on Bright Dust. Baking cookies for Bright Dust is quick and easy!

Dares of Eternity

The final boss rotation in Legend mode will change this week. Last week, it was Zydron every time.

Remember, you’re guaranteed infinite heavy ammo in Legend because the final boss is the same every time all week. Stand on that boss’ plate and enjoy non-stop carnage (a great way to finish your Gjallarhorn catalyst).

Pro Tip: If you walk into the jump pad backward after the first encounter, you’ll always make it.

Grasp of Avarice

The new dungeon launched without the ability to farm it for Eyasluna and 1000 Yard Stare (not sure why this is something overlooked each time).

DMG confirmed that this won’t be fixed until Thursday.

I recommend not doing Grasp of Avarice until the hotfix on Thursday. The last thing you want is for the game to make you wait until next week (due to some random bug) to farm because you already ran it this week.

Nightfall Ordeal

Devil’s Lair with extra rewards!

This week, you can get:

• The Comedian (shotgun)

• Shadow Price (auto rifle)

Crucible

Mayhem returns, which should be a great way at getting some Dawning currency that only drops from activity completions.

Make sure to farm some Bright Dust bounties during the event so you can get more Eververse items without needing to swipe the card.
